Game Format: similar to high school girls with a few modifications
- (2) 20 minute halves with 3-5 minute halftime
- Clock will run until the last minute of 2nd half
- Mercy rule is 40 points (game will conclude)

FVZ & SVNZ football is primarily an outdoor sport and playing in the rain is part of the game.
Games may be canceled due to inclement weather conditions. If games are canceled, XL will do our best to reschedule, however due to field reservations we may not be able to. The later we get into the season, chances of “make-up” games being rescheduled are slim to not happening. This also applies to teams taking BYE's during the season.
If a regular season game is canceled, FINAL team records will be based upon the amount of games played. There will be NO REFUNDS if your team is short of a game.
Inclement Weather that may lead to cancellation of games include but not limited to:
The Director of Operations and/or Field Commissioner will make the FINAL decision on game cancellations.
*Teams may choose to not play if they feel the weather is unsafe and not “playable”. This will count as a FORFEIT

FVZ Season Games:
Each team will be scheduled to play 6 regular season games and 1 playoff game. Minimum of 7 games per season unless a game is canceled due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control during the season.

Each team will be scheduled to play 8 regular season games and 1 playoff game. Minimum of 9 games per season unless a game is canceled due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control during the season.
XL Sports prides itself in providing a true football field experience by obtaining fields at High School campuses. When games are held at venues other than a city park, there may be an entry fee that XL Sports will assess for all spectators older than 6 years old. Schools may charge a parking fee as well.
ALL DOE/MHS rules apply and will be 100% enforced. MHS Security will be at the front gates have the right to inspect all bags/wagons.

Tents are allowed but must be placed on the highest point of the bleachers; please use the top rows first before the lower end
